Sticky Question (Week 2 - Term 4)
We are continuing with our Sticky Questions this term. Our first one for term 4 is ...
So, what do you think? Remember to justify your answer. What do your friends and family think?
I think it is unfair to treat people the same because they are all different people so they deserve to be treated deferently. Everyone can still be treated with kindness but all with different parts of kindness. Olivia
Hi Miss Taylor and Miss Dods, I think that it is not fair to treat people the same because everybody has a different understanding, and if I was talking to a person like I would talk to my Mum, they might be confused because they have a different understanding to others. Erika

Another reason is say that Bridie Paige and I are playing and Bridie is treating Paige and I the same. I would not like it because we are two very different people and I play differently to Paige. If someone treats you with kindness you have to be kind to them, and if they be unkind to you then you do the bad thing they did to you or a little bad thing to get revenge. For example if you have a bully that treated you unkind then you to get a little revenge to get it even for both of you, you can walk away and tell the teacher that would be my smartest idea to do because then you won't be the bad person they will. No Because sometimes if you're happy you can treat people the way you want to be treated. And if your not feeling like your in a good mood don't treat them bad take you anger out on nobody. But if they haven't done anything to you don't give them revenge don't take your anger out on them.. And make them feel bad but dont take your anger out on anyone who hasnt done anything to you. Hello Class I think that it is unfair to treat people like this becuase say that someone was sad and you gave everybody else kindness and you did not give that person that was sad kindness how would that make them feel and how would you feel it somone did that to you. Hi Miss Taylor. I think we should treat people the same because if I was being nice to India and she was being mean, I would treat her nice so then she treats me nice.
I also think if I made everyone in the school punch a tree down bare someone is not strong you don't have to do it. But you have to be honest if your strong or not. do a test an a punching bag and break it then your strong but if you don't then you're not strong.

Hi. I think it is yes to treat people the same. Because you might be playing a game and 2 people might ask to play with you and they might say yes to one person and say no to the other person. You could be having a race and one person might have a wheelchair and everybody start at the start and it would not be fair that the person with the wheelchair is having to start at the start. But I can you should not have to do it the same, but if you are bullying because they are different that is not good, so you should treat people differently but not in a mean way from Bridie.

It is important to treat people the same because if someone is treating you the way you want to be treated, then treat them back the way they treated you. Treating people right is amazing but if people treat you very meanly, then tell an adult immediately! If there is no adult around you, stand up for yourself and be brave to talk! Don't be shy! Never be shy about bullies or anything else that you are scared of! Please remember, treat people the way they treated you!

I think it's fair depending on the state. for example: if it was sport day and we were doing high jump,and some had a broken leg or in a wheelchair or even had one leg still had to do it up high even though they asked miss dodds she said well I'm bossy and I'm going to treat you fairly but they said it's actually not fair miss dodds. She was like tough just do so they did and they got even more hurt. So that is why I think it is fair at times. from Riley
