Te Mahuri North children are enjoying Roald Dahls BFG
This week we have been learning how to describe using Adjectives, synonyms and similies. All of the children have done a fantastic job and are getting super duper good at this. Ms Dods is having to 'stay on her toes' to keep challenging them to expand their vocabularies!!!!
We have been using the synonym wall and a thesaurus to help find new words to describe.
This is the slide we have been using with the activities we have been working through. I have just learned how to embed photos and pictures, so this is my first attempt...Phew!! What a week, you really never stop learning do you?

How wonderful, superb, outstanding and marvellous it is to hear about people/children/learners/students learning about adjectives synonyms and similes. It makes me feel that a school day is like a ship skimming across the sea.
