It sounds like you are going to be having a very interesting and engaging week.
Being able to listen to others opinions and give your own in a respectful manner is a very useful skill to be practicing. It’s a skill you’re going to need all of your life.
I have considered your question, and my answer is...a snail. The reason behind why I chose a snail is simply they are slow moving. Because they are slow I would be able to pick them up slowly and carefully. I would be able to make sure I picked them up by their shell or let them just slid onto my hand. As I have held a lot of snails before I know what they feel like, so I wouldn’t be nervous about how they felt on my hand or what they might do to me.
I look forward to reading about what you all choose and why.
I love that we are all so different it truely makes life so much more interesting.

ReplyDeleteI think this is rather interesting because you have to pick what you would rather pick up. I think I would pick up a mouse because they are easy to catch and have rather good camouflage the same colour as its fur. I would not pick up a snail because they are very slimy and look disgusting. A spider would make me very nervous, like a loud noise or something like that. Especially more deadly spiders than the most harmless spiders. Like a black widow. Ohhhhh with one bite the black widow could kill a human. ( not instantly ethir) but would kill a human. I read it once. Next time you could maybe add more animals you would rather hold, Instead of just three. Snails give me a shiver down my back because of how they feel and how yuck thy feel. Spider make me scared because of how big and horrible they look. Well I haven't much more to say so. BYE!!!! from Dylan

ReplyDeleteI love our blog post and I think I am going to pick up a spider becasuse I do have a habit of being scared of them and I hape buy picking it up I will get over my fare. I like how you put the spech bubbles around the person who was faceing the window. But why did you do snail, spider and mouse why not food like fizzy, cotten candy and ice cream. What made you chose them 3? How did you come up with the idea of would you rather on a blog post? I love all your storng words but what dose engage mean.I love your idea of reasons and reasoning on a blog. I a loking fored to see what other people say.

ReplyDeleteI would choose a mouse because it is not so harmful like the others. It is cute and soft. When it crawls onto your hand it tickles me. I have piked up a mouse before and I will not be scared when the mouse comes onto my hand. I really can't wait to see what other people say. We are all so different. With your mind.

Hi I really like the blog because I love that you have but hard decisions I can't really pick but I am going to pick the mouse because every christmas I ask for two white mouse and I could keep the mouse as my pet I have a question are we allowed to kill the spider and pick up the mouse at the same time i hate spiders there creepy from Bridie

ReplyDeleteyo I would hold a spider because I love them they are cute and I have one my own so I hate snails because they are slower then my uncle tim and I hate mouses because they are gross and you get sick and they ugly the only time I laugh at birds is when my cat kills them then tries to come inside and show me so for that I give him 5 cat dollars than I show the moues to my mum and then I show it to dad then sabang out the window in to the neighbours garden when I do that my cat chases it so yeah I love spiders so much so bye.

ReplyDeleteI would hold a mouse and a spider. I would hold a mouse because ther fear is soft. I would hold a spider because they are small but I would only hold a tarantula because they don't harm you unless you harm them. I would not hold a snail because they are so slimy.
I would rather pick up a snail because you can just hold its shell and you don´t get the slimy stuff all over you.

ReplyDeleteI would pick up a mouse because they don't move in your hands. So they can't escape out of your hands. I would not pick up a spider because they are scary to touch in your hands and that some spiders bit you and it hurts a lot. I would not touch a mouse because they smell so yack and that they can crawl out of your hands.

Hi Miss Taylor and Miss dods, I think I would rather pick up a snail to be honest. Because the other ones can harm you like a mouse making you sick and a spider could poison or even do worse to you. So I think my option would be to pick up a snail.

Hey Te Mahuri I would touch a spider because they do not hurt you if you don´t hurt them. I would not touch a mouse or a snail becuase 1 mouse are grose & 2 snails are slimy and weird. But i have touched a snail before and i did not like it. This is why. Next time you should put your thoughts. Zoe
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Taylor and Miss Dods, I would rather pick up a snail because they are nice and slow so you can pick them up easy, I wouldn't pick up a spider because they are very scary and I don't like how they have eight legs, it is so creepy, I also wouldn't pick up a mouse because they can run away fast if you try to get hold of them so I would not pick up a mouse either.

I would not like o pick up a spider or a snail because spiders are my worst fear and snails are very slimy and it takes forever to wash off their slime! Next time maybe you can add a bit more writing. What would you do? Keep up the great work.
